First Few Days

So I have been in Melbourne for five days now and a lot of things have happened!! Let me start at the beginning.

Wednesday
I rocked up at Siobhan's around 9:30 and did all the shopping and then passed out after a crazy long time flying.

Thursday
Got my hair done! Finally, it's been nearly a year since I've done anything fancy with it. Now, the photo that I put on Facebook is making people think that I went super blonde which isn't true, it's only the ends and some around the front. I took a really unattractive photo so that you guys can see what I mean.

See? Brown on top, blonde on bottom. It's called balayage and it normally looks really nice when I haven't been sweating all over the city! But oh well, you've all seen me worse. Then went shopping and had dinner with Siobhan.

Friday
Shopping and reading and coffee and stuff.

Saturday
Went job hunting and worked out with some of the girls that I'm living with at the moment.

Sunday
Ah, Sunday. Well I won't go to deep into it but as some of you know, Ethan and I have been having a few troubles in regards to leaving Newman and moving to Melbourne, and with good reason, he wants to get a job before moving. So, our plan is to stay together but we will find him a job before he makes the big move, in the meantime I will be here in Melbourne finding a job and a place (with flatmates first and then once Ethan has a job, we will find our own flat). So yay for us still being together and thank god for all that drama being over (hopefully, touch wood).

Monday
Had an interview at Priceline in the CBD, so we will see how that goes. I also did a lot of online job hunting looking for administrative and receptionist positions, I'm not too keen on going back to retail and worrying about sales targets and really bad pay. So hopefully I find something soon. I have also started house hunting! This is proving to be a bit nerve racking because people are scary when you have only seen their ad on Gumtree or Flatmate Finder so I am hoping that I can meet someone before I start to live with them. Hopefully that all works out. Also, I bought a fancy pen and cool notepad and have started writing again. It's a bit rusty and incredibly lame but I am looking forward to getting back to it. I hope to write a paragraph or so a day, even if it is complete drivel. Once I have something good, I will post it on here too so you can all read my incredibly pretentious babble :)

So, that is about it. Still job hunting and house hunting for the next however long and hoping for the best. If you guys have any tips or tricks or people you know that want a receptionist or have a place in the CBD that aren't totally scary, let me know!

Until next time, folks! xx
Rhian
